Welcome to the first 2024 edition of our Inspirations newsletter
There are so many exciting new products coming into our showroom for the new year, and as we are frequently asked for our advice on styles and textures for door and window furniture, here we share with you some of the trends that we’re seeing in ironmongery to enhance our customer projects.
A fresh look at finishes
Matt black has been popular for several years, so it’s great to see alternatives coming through from UK manufacturers. Stunning options in graphite with dark grey toned finishes; satin nickel bronzed; and if the interior design still calls for black, then matt black nickel provides depth without starkness for both modern and traditional projects.
Dual finishes
Seeing a revival, today’s dual finishes have a modern, elegant style and offer the ability to customise door handle parts to create a unique look. Whether you want a subtle combination of brass and bronzes, or a bold contrast using black with satin/polished brass, dual finishes will complement any environment.
Trims and invisible roses
For a modern, minimalist style, levers and knobs with almost invisible roses, are available in a vast array of materials and finishes. These are effective on doors with narrower stiles and accentuate lever detail, bringing a sleek effect to contemporary projects.

Textures
There has been an evolution of the popular knurling trend, giving us ‘lines’ and ‘spirals’ and a further development of the traditional ‘reeded’ and ‘beaded’ detail - turning a simple doorknob or lever design into a focal point.
